For $20, I’ll review an overview photo of your jewelry collection and circle or highlight the pieces that catch my eye—items that appear unusual, potentially older, collectible, signed, or simply worth taking a closer look at.
I’ll share whatever useful information I can identify from the initial photo and, when something deserves a closer look, I’ll tell you exactly what I need to see next—such as the back of a piece, clasp construction, maker’s marks, hallmarks, stone settings, or other details.
Your Jewelry Box Review includes:
● A review of your submitted overview photo and 2 additional closeup photos
● An annotated copy highlighting pieces I find interesting
● Initial observations and identification when possible
● Questions about details that may help identify or date a piece
● Specific instructions for any additional photos that would be useful
● Recommendations for pieces that may benefit from more detailed research
No treasure required! The goal is to help you make sense of what you have and identify the pieces that deserve a second look.

Hi, I’m Lily, the person behind Elm Jewelry Archive. I live in Southeastern Wisconsin, and I’ve always loved antiques, history, and the stories behind the things people have saved over the years. My particular passion is vintage and estate jewelry, and I have experience researching, identifying, buying, and selling both vintage costume and fine jewelry.
Antique and vintage jewelry is my passion —it’s not my day job. I especially enjoy the research: figuring out when a piece was made, who may have made it, what it’s made from, and what makes it interesting.
I also love helping people understand the jewelry they already have. Family jewelry can easily end up tucked away in a box simply because no one knows what it is or whether it’s worth keeping. My goal is to help identify those pieces and their stories so that your family’s treasures aren’t forgotten, overlooked, or accidentally discarded.
Not every old piece is valuable, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t interesting or worth understanding. Sometimes the history and story behind a piece are the best part.
